C.J. Subko

C.J. Subko is a full-time psychologist and part-time writer. Her work explores the dark side of fantasy and the darker side of horror. Her novels are represented by Maria Brannan at Greyhound Literary UK. Her short fiction has appeared in several venues. “A Sacrifice” appeared in The Crow’s Quill (July 2023). “The Creeping” appeared in Tales from the Moonlit Path (October 2023). “No Matter” appeared in Spindle House (March 2024). “The Yellow Chalice” appeared in Crow & Cross Keys (July 2024). 
 
C.J. has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University and a B.A. in Psychology and English from the University of Notre Dame. She lives in Chicago with her dog, Merlin, and her cat, Nemo.
