J.R. Blanes is the author of the Southern Gothic Horror Tragedy, Portraits of Decay (published in 2025 from Ruadán Books), the short story collection The Skeleton Closet (publishing by Dark Nest Publishing in October 2026), and the upcoming New England Witchcraft Dark Academia Novel Acascreamia (coming from Crystal Lake Publishing in 2027.)
