John Everson

John Everson is a former newspaper reporter and the Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Covenant and thirteen other novels of horror and the supernatural including NightWhere, a 2012 Bram Stoker Award Finalist, and its 2023 sequel, The Night Mother. Other titles include Siren, Violet Eyes, The House By The Cemetery, Voodoo Heart and his giallo homage Five Deaths for Seven Songbirds.

Praised by Booklist and Cemetery Dance; Kirkus Reviews called his work “hard to put down,” while author Edward Lee said, “Everson is a MASTER of the hardcore; he’s the rare kind of writer who’s so good you can’t proceed with your day until the book is finished.”
