Matthew Salinas

Matthew Salinas is an Illinois native from Lockport. He has over 50+ writing credits/publications and has been included in numerous anthologies and literary magazines. He is known primarily for short stories and collections but enjoys writing novels and novellas as well. He is also an active member of the Horror Writers Association and Chicago Writers Association, as well as was featured as a discussant/panelist for the American Library Association’s first Book Club Panel on Horror. He is co-creator of the Fairfield Scribes Prize Contest for the Connecticut-based literary magazine Fairfield Scribes. He is currently working on a trilogy of short story collections as well as the sequel to his recent and most popular book, Something Truly Dreadful. When he isn’t writing, editing, interviewing fellow authors, narrating audiobooks, or doing book reviews, he spends his time with his loving and adorable wife Jordana, their unbelievably cute son Henry, and their beloved cats.
