Michael W. Phillips Jr.

Mike Phillips is a writer, editor, filmmaker, film curator, bookseller, and publisher based in Chicago. His stories and poems have appeared in Disturbed Digest and Grievous Angel, and he has a story forthcoming in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. He worked in Chicago’s film exhibition industry for almost 20 years. In 2023 he founded From Beyond Press, an indie publishing company, and he’s the editor of This World Belongs to Us: An Anthology of Horror Stories about Bugs, Fettered and Other Tales of Terror by Greye La Spina, This Is Life: Rediscovered Short Fiction by Frank London Brown, and co-editor of Escalators to Hell: Shopping Mall Horrors.
